A region rich in history, wine, art, tradition and gourmet cuisine, this program offers an exceptional, "insider" experience of this former home to the "Dukes of Burgundy". Discover the region's riches through a recreational culinary class in Burgundian cuisine in the Bresse with our private chef, a wine workshop, "the art & pleasures of wine tasting in Burgundy" accompanied by cellar tours & wine tasting and a gourmet lunch in a 16th century wine cellar, an exhilarating cultural walk through the "Cotes de Beaune" wine appellation including Meursault, Volnay and Pommard, the open market in Beaune, museums and city walk in Dijon, gourmet dining daily and luxury accommodations in historic, downtown Beaune.

THE BURGUNDY TOUR PROGRAM PRICE INCLUDES

· Full time expert services of a professional, French-American, Off the Beaten Path, LLC program guide who stays with your group for the entirety of your program
· 5-nights stay in the heart of Beaune, historical 4-star accommodations (no hotel hopping)
· Cellar visits & wine tasting "en famille" throughout the trip at the regions most prestigious vineyards, including Bouchard Ainé & Fils, Chateau de la Tour, Corton Andre, Meursault, Volnay, Nuits St. Georges
· Wine workshop with local wine professional (sommelier) "Introduction to the pleasures & art of wine tasting in Burgundy", followed by gourmet lunch in 16th century wine cellar with regional wines.
· Day in Dijon: Regional OPEN MARKET, cultural city walk, historic sites/museums
· Explore Beaune with an historic walking tour of the old town (Hospice)
· Tour of 12th century Chateau du Clos de Vougeot
· WALK: Cultural Wine Walk (~3.5-4 hrs.) through the vineyards Côte de Beaune Appellation with Gourmet picnic & Grand Cru wines, wine tasting
· Recreational (hands-on) culinary course of Burgundy specialties with our private chef, accompanied by gourmet lunch of the recipes we prepared together & Grand Cru wines
· Buffet breakfast daily
